A Week in Review

This week the premier event was Wednesday's ski, snowboard and snowshoe activity at Pass Powderkeg. It was a beautiful day full of new skills capture and fun. We will be doing it again this coming Wednesday. More snow please.

The whole school also participated in an OHV and snow safety presentation. Ask your kids what they learned.

The One Book Two Schools reading project is well on it's way and the antics of Flora and Ulysses are entertaining us all. Please encourage your kids to call Mountain Radio each morning and get entered in the draw for a pizza. It all ends on Friday. You should have read to page 152 by the end of the weekend.

Weekly homework continues and is handed out every Monday and due Friday. The kids are more than welcome to collaborate with each other, parents, siblings and myself if that helps their understanding. The use of tools like calculators is also permissible. I would appreciate it if you could follow up with your kids and help them get it completed on time. There are a few who seem to regularly miss Friday's deadline and/or misplace the sheets.

The only form that went out this week that may be still outstanding is the basketball permission slip.

Enjoy the sun and warmer weather this weekend.
